Evolved societies, mainly to extend production/consumption time,
stretch the length of the day modifying the circadian rhythm.
Main drawbacks of this alteration will fall on our ecosystems: humans,
animals and organic systems are affected, and the magnitude of these
consequences are not yet known.
We have already lost some of the visible light frequency because of
human actions – the Milky Way is no longer visible to the human eye. 
Indeed, if Vincent Van Gogh was alive now, he would be not able to paint 'The Starry Night' again.
All forms of life rely on Earth’s predictable rhythm of day and
night; it’s encoded in the DNA of all plants and animals. Humans have
radically disrupted this cycle by lighting up the night.

As a positive sign, we would like to imagine a possible future scenario
where light will define the growth of cities. It will be a sort of phototropism
applied to architecture, where, as with plants and trees, all the
buildings and infrastructures will be guided by daily changes of light.
